Tourism in Andorra during the summer season
The Thyssen Museum
Amongst the many museums that will unveil the cultural richness of the country (the Areny-Plandolit Museum, the Perfume Museum, the Electricity Museum, the Postal Museum) the Carmen Thyssen Museum is the most recent. Open since 2017, it is located on the first floor of the ancient Hotel Valira of Escaldes-Engordany, a building built in 1933.
Inside, visitors will have the chance to admire the private collection Carmen Thyssen. The latter gathers paintings acquired by the baroness Thyssen-Bornemisza. Audio guides are available for the visitors (available in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, German and Russian). An activity that you must do in summer as well as in winter in Andorra!
